Fruits bring the water in the mouth from child to old people. They are among the foods which are great source of nutrition’s and good health. There are fruits which are not very commonly available in the market worldwide. Such fruits are grown and are available in some specific regions. Here are few of such kind of fruits which you will find interesting to know.
Cupuacu
It is the fruit of rainforest tree of tropical region with the name Cupuacu. It is cultivation is done around the basin of Amazon. The jungles of north of Brazil, Bolivia, Peru are the most cultivated areas for this fruit. It has a hard thick shell but soft pulp with great taste. The pulp smells like a combination of pineapple and chocolate.
In Amazon it is known as super fruit with high nutritional values, because of this it is also famous as “the pharmacy in a fruit” in this region. 
 It is called superfruit because of following benefits:
1. It is rich in powerful antioxidant phytonutrient polyphenols which is not present in any other fruit.

This fruit is found throughout Central America, South Asia, California, Hawaii and Bolivia. It was called as “most delicious fruit known to men” by Mark Twain. Its tree grows at high altitudes, because of which it has got its name “chirimuya” meaning “cool seeds” in Quechua language.
It has very pleasant fragrance and has heart like conical shape. Its skin is thick with conical protuberance. Its inside pulp is creamy with fragrance that can be appreciated from distance.

This fruit’s outer skin has pin shaped protuberance because of which it is called horned shaped. Riped fruit has outer skin in orange shade and inner pulp greenish in colour. It has a sharp pungent sour taste It is basically a fruit plant of Africa, but cultivated in Newzeland and Australia also.

It is named because the closed fingers of it symbolize to Budhha the act of prayer.
It has no juice, seeds and a bittersweet pulp. It can be used in the form of zest or as a whole. Budhha’s hand recipe are also very famous in these countries.
