World's Amazing Rail Track: Tunnel of Love

You will get a mesmerizing scene when you will move along the railway track passing through a tunnel, made of twisted lush green trees. It seems like a fairy tale track, you will surely fall in love with it. This fact has made it a hot tourist spot worldwide, and also a famous spot for lovers. It is famous among the visitors by the name of Tunnel of Love, because of its eye catching characteristics.

Tunnel of Love is situated in Klevan a place in Ukraine. The story behind the origin of this starts with cold war. A military base was situated in the forest and for the purpose of secrecy heavy tree plantation was done alongside of the rail track to hide the military activities related to transport. Now it is used for the transportation of goods to and from a plywood factory named Odek plywood. It is a 3 kilometre track in which trees are beautifully trimmed to form a green tunnel. This trimming is natural because of the movement of train, which goes 3 times a day over this track.

Earlier this spot was not known to the world, but now with the spread of internet, people are coming to see this place all along the world. This crowd is sometimes creating trouble to the train operators. This tunnel has no official owner or protector, as a result the several trees were cut down to create more passage for train. This act led to a heavy outcry, since then no tree has been touched by the factory.

The tunnel is very popular in Ukraine. Newlyweds and couples generally keep on coming here for photography of eye-catching scenery of green corridor.
