Audi Bringing The Truck of Future

Audi is among one of the German based automobile manufacturing company known for bringing revolutionary technologies. The same is true this time when Audi is ready to change the trucks of future. Two conceptual trucks of future have been designed by two digital artists, Artem Smirnov a Belarusian designer and Vladimir Panchenko Ukrainian 3D modeler/CAD Sculptor for Audi.

These stunning conceptual trucks of future are designed with eye-catching elongated head and tail lamps. The exterior has silk like smooth appearance, ergonomically designed cabin and somewhat rectangular shaped strange looking steering wheel.

A worth to mention point is that one of them is electric-powered and has self-driven capabilities, thus moving a step ahead to Go green technology, and bringing the solution to driver.
The duo behind this concept Artem Smirnov and Vladimir Panchenko said, “To develop Audi as an unmanned electric truck brand was their goal.” During the conceptual designing phase they decided to work on 2 directions: Direction A in which an unmanned, electric power driven truck was designed; Direction B is designing of truck show car with electric power driving mechanism.

They decided to develop both one, then to select the best one from the duo. But their plan failed at the end as they were finding it hard to choose the best one from them, therefore bringing them to court of public by posting the proposals on Instagram.

Looking on to these designs, one can imagine what is going to be the future of trucking. Today’s truck driver can see their future in a hi-tech cabin giving them a star trek era experience.
